Refund and Returns Policy

Kip Motor Company Terms & Conditions

Kip Motor makes great efforts to provide the proper part for your British vehicle. Don’t despair if the one you receive doesn’t look anything like the part found on your vehicle. Over the years, vehicles may have been fitted with parts not originally intended for your vehicle. Such is the lot of the British car owner; at times great patience may be required.

Parts listed on this secure shopping site are normally stocked or planned for production. Unless otherwise indicated, all items are new aftermarket or new-old-stock. Many products are made-to-order at our Dallas, Texas facility by our craftsmen and women and are marked “made-to-order” and are produced to the original manufacture’s specifications or better.

(X) – indicates rebuilt items sold by exchange only meaning we have no decent cores available and we rebuild your unit. (X)Number such as (X)75 indicated items where cores are generally available. The core charge following the (X) is included in the price of the product and will be refunded once we receive your rebuildable core. If your core is damage and not rebuildable, your core charge is not refundable. We must receive your rebuildable core before 90 days of original shipment in order to refund the amount to your original method of payment. (U) indicates a used part and is usually sandblasted before being sent out.

Back Orders:

We normally stock all items in our catalog. From time to time, some items may be temporarily out of stock or no longer available due to the supply chain issues we all have been experiencing. These items will be indicated as back ordered on your invoice. In most cases, back ordered items will ship within 1- to 2 weeks. Occasionally certain items may take longer. Any back ordered item not shipped within 60 days of the original order will be automatically dropped unless specifically requested otherwise. There are no additional shipping charges on back-orders.

Damaged Shipment:

If your shipment arrives damaged, please take photos and contact the carrier immediately BEFORE contacting Kip Motor Company for further instructions. If a delivery, please inspect box for any signs of damage before accepting.

Returns:

Returns are accepted for full refund or exchange up to 90 days from date of purchase. Returns are accepted for exchange only, up to 180 days from date of purchase. Special orders and returns exceeding the listed limits may or may not be accepted, with or without a restocking fee at the discretion of Kip Motor Company. Returns must be accompanied by a copy of the original invoice. Include a note indicating the reason for return. All items must be in the same condition as shipped. Any item cut, fitted, painted, scratched or dented will not be accepted. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Shipping Return:

Mail your product to: Kip Motor Company, 2127 Crown Rd, Dallas, Texas 75229. Make sure product is wrapped and packed securely in box. Customer is responsible for return postage.

Warranty:

All parts are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from date of shipment. If a part fails in service, it will be exchanged for a similar part whenever available. This warranty covers only the part and does not include labor or failure of a related component. In no case would the liability of KMC exceed the cost of the original part.
