The vehicle arrived for a full body restoration and comprehensive suspension evaluation. Our inspection uncovered severe suspension wear across multiple components. The front control arm bushings had completely broken down. The passenger-side upper kingpin locking pin had sheared, allowing excessive pivot wear. Rear suspension rubber bushings had also failed and required replacement.
During body restoration, we removed all exterior trim and aggressively stripped the paint, body filler, and previous repairs using both mechanical and chemical methods. This process exposed heavily filled exterior sills. To restore proper strength and long-term structural integrity, we recommend replacing the sills with new panels rather than reworking the existing material.
This restoration prioritizes structural strength, suspension performance, and reliable drivability—bringing the vehicle back to a solid, safe, and road-ready condition.
