We completed a comprehensive, total-systems mechanical restoration on this 1954 MG TF, focusing on reliability, safety, and drivability.

The team overhauled the engine using a standard rebuild package that included all major internal components. As part of this process, we rebuilt the distributor and installed new spark plugs and ignition wires to ensure consistent ignition performance.

For the braking system, we carried out a full reconditioning. This work included machining the brake drums, relining the brake shoes with oversized linings, and precision-fitting them to the drums. We also replaced the master cylinder and wheel cylinders, while addressing worn clevis pins and related hardware as needed. Wheel bearings were inspected and repacked, and new brake lines and hoses were installed throughout.

Attention then turned to the cooling system, which we thoroughly serviced to ensure proper temperature regulation and dependable operation. The suspension system also received a complete overhaul, restoring both ride quality and handling characteristics.

Together, this work represents a true total-systems mechanical restoration, with careful attention given to every major functional area of the vehicle.
